Who we are
Founded 2024

A family business doing care the way it should be done.

We started SAL because the standard of care available locally wasn't good enough for our own family. So we built what we wished existed.

The SAL Healthcare team
The team

The people you'll actually meet.

Small team, low turnover, the same faces every week. That's the whole product.

C

Cynthia

Care Operations

Cynthia runs day-to-day care delivery. She is the person clients and families speak to most, the rota fixer, and the late-night phone call answerer. If something needs sorting in the next hour, it is usually Cynthia who sorts it.

She has been delivering care for over twenty years and has seen most of what a domiciliary service can throw at you. The team trust her, the families trust her, and the clients trust her.

Nathan

Nathan

Registered Manager and Director

Nathan is the registered manager and director. He is the one CQC writes to, and the one who signs off on every care plan and every new client.

He grew up in this business, knows the families personally, and is the right person to call when something needs a decision rather than a process. His direct line is on every care plan we hand over.

K

Kazumi

Care and Admin

Kazumi splits her time between care delivery and the office. She handles the paperwork that keeps the operation legal and tidy: care plans, training records, audits, and the things CQC wants to see.

When she is on the rota she is one of our most experienced carers, particularly with personal care and medication-heavy clients.

C

Carl

Male Carer

Carl is one of our male carers, which matters more than people think. A lot of older men prefer (or only feel comfortable with) a male carer for personal care, and Carl is the one we send.

He has a calm manner, a long-standing background in care work, and the kind of unflappable presence that helps in the harder visits.

S

Sibo

Care Worker

Sibo is one of our regular care workers, on the rota across Wimborne, Ferndown, and Bournemouth. Clients who have her assigned to them tend to ask for her by name.

She is patient, reliable, and good at the small stuff: noticing when something has changed, remembering the way someone likes their tea, knowing when to talk and when not to.

N

Nadjia

Experienced Carer

Nadjia is one of our most experienced carers, often the one we send to a complex new client for the first few visits. She has a knack for putting people at ease quickly and reading what is actually needed rather than what is on the page.

She mentors newer carers in the team and is a quiet anchor on the rota.

Our story

Why this exists, in two paragraphs.

We started SAL because the standard of home care available locally was not good enough for our own family. We watched two families try to find consistent, considered care for elderly parents and we watched both struggle. The agencies sent different carers every week. The carers were rushed. The little things, the things that actually matter, kept getting missed.

We built what we wished existed. CQC-registered, properly trained, properly paid, and small enough that the same two carers come every week. The relationship between client and carer is the work, not a side-effect of it.
