This page explains, in plain English, what we do with the personal information you give us.
Who we are
We are SAL Healthcare Limited, a CQC-registered domiciliary care provider based in Wimborne, Dorset. The data controller for any information you share with us is SAL Healthcare Limited.
What we collect
For website enquiries, we collect what you choose to put into our contact form: usually your name, phone number, email address, and a short message describing what you are looking for. If you call or email us directly, we keep a record of the conversation so we can pick up where we left off when you contact us again.
For active clients, we hold the information needed to deliver care safely: name, address, date of birth, GP details, medication list, care needs, next of kin, and the records we make on each visit. This is held in our care management system, which is hosted in the UK and complies with the relevant data protection rules.
Why we collect it
For enquiries, we use your information only to respond to you. We do not add you to a marketing list, we do not pass your details to third parties, and we do not send you newsletters unless you specifically ask for one.
For active clients, we use the information to deliver and document care, communicate with your GP and other professionals where you have given consent, and meet our regulatory obligations to CQC and Local Authorities.
How we store it
Enquiry information is stored in our email system and our customer management system. Both are protected by access controls and are accessible only to office staff who need them.
Client care records are stored in our care management system with role-based access. Paper records are kept securely in the home or in our office and shredded when no longer needed.
Your rights
You have the right to see what we hold about you, to ask us to correct anything that is wrong, and to ask us to delete information that we no longer need to hold. You can also ask us to stop processing your information for any specific purpose.
