If a loved one is medically fit to leave hospital but needs help at home, SAL Healthcare may be able to arrange short-term private care quickly, subject to assessment and availability. We can support with settling in, personal care, meals, medication support, mobility assistance and reassurance during the transition home.

Is this a nursing service? +
SAL Healthcare provides CQC-regulated personal care and practical recovery support. We do not replace surgeons, GPs, district nurses or emergency services. If clinical care is required, this must be provided by the appropriate healthcare professional.
Can you help after cosmetic surgery? +
Yes, where the person needs practical support at home such as personal care, mobility assistance, meals, medication support, companionship or overnight reassurance. We do not provide clinical surgical aftercare or wound treatment unless separately arranged with appropriately qualified professionals.

Do you charge VAT? +
Our assessed care and welfare services are normally VAT exempt when delivered as CQC-regulated personal care. We do not add VAT to the listed care package prices where the service qualifies as VAT exempt.
